Reconstruction of Prosafe SE

The board of Prosafe SE decided to request reconstruction proceedings on 27 August 2021, and on 1 September 2021 Oslo Tingrett opened reconstruction proceedings in the company. The company is a leading owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation rigs.

In parallel, there is an ongoing Scheme of Arrangement in Singapore for both Prosafe SE and their subsidiary, filed for on 30 April 2021.

According to the court's ruling, the Company's debt includes a facility of USD 288 million and a facility of USD 1.3 billion.

Partner and lawyer in Ro Sommernes, Håvard Wiker, was appointed as administrator of the reconstruction proceedings. He has previously been the administrator for, i.a., Polarn O. Pyret and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA.
