Bernhard Getz-Jeffreys

Bernhard specializes in direct and indirect tax law, corporate law and accounting law, with main focus on transaction related matters, tax structuring, planning and execting reorganisations, establishing management investment plans and share incentive programs for senior executives. He gives advice on all matters relating to Norwegian and international taxation. He writes articles on a regular basis regarding tax issues in Finansavisen.

Bernhard graduated from the University of Bergen with a Master of Laws degree in 2015. He studied one semester at Bond University in Australia. Bernhard started as an associate in the tax team of Ræder Advokatfirma in 2015. He then worked at the tax team of Advokatfirmaet Wiersholm AS from 2017 to 2021, before transferring to Ro Sommernes where he became partner in 2023.
