Ro Sommernes has assisted Hunter Group ASA with financing of the VLCC newbuildings «Hunter Freya» delivered from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South Korea on March 6, 2020.

Our attorneys have assisted Hunter Group ASA in negotiations entering into a loan agreement with a bank syndicate and with related securities documents. «Hunter Freya» is the fourth of seven identical ECO design VLCC newbuildings from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering. The remaining three vessels are scheduled to be delivered between May and August 2020. «Hunter Freya» will join «Hunter Atla», «Hunter Saga» and «Hunter Laga» in the Tankers International Scrubber Pool, and will commence trading in the spot market.
