Ro Sommernes assists Hurtigruten

Ro Sommernes assisted Hurtigruten with the delivery of the two expedition vessels "MS Roald Amundsen" and "MS Fridtjof Nansen" from Kleven Shipyard in Ulsteinvik, Norway.

The vessels were delivered in June and December 2019 respectively, and are the world's first hybrid powered expedtition vessels. They will sail unique expedition routes, i.a. in South America, Antarctica, Alaska, the North-West Passage, the Falkland Islands and Greenland.

The Ro Sommernes team consisted of members of the shipping, offshore and finance department, including Ole Johan Stensli, Håkon Hellerud, Markus Wiederstrøm and Katinka Wikborg.
