Marte Dahl works with general business law advice. She has particular expertise in employment law, inheritance and succession, in addition to contract issues and disputes.
She has varied experience with employment law issues through investigation cases and follow-up of individual employment relationships, with both advice and in negotiations and disputes in this regard. She assists both private and public actors as a lawyer, and has experience from mediation cases and civil main proceedings as a deputy judge in the district court.
Marte regularly assists with handling both private and public estates. She also advises heirs both before choosing the form of succession, and also during the succession.
She also assists in all phases of construction contracts and disputes, from negotiation and drafting of contracts, to follow-up and ongoing advice along the way - and in dispute resolution when necessary.
Marte combines high professional quality with a practical and commercial approach to the client's needs - regardless of the content and size of the assignment.
Background
Marte Dahl graduated with a Master of Laws from the University of Oslo in 2011.
Dahl was employed as an associate with Ro Sommernes in August 2011 and as a permanent attorney in January 2020. She was admitted to the bar in 2013. Dahl has previous experience from the court as an associate judge and as an attorney at the Norwegian Bar Association.
Marte has worked for two periods at the firm. Between the two periods, she worked for several years as an associate judge at the Lofoten District Court. In the court, she gained a lot of experience with mediation in several different types of cases and had several major civil litigations, including within labor law. She also has experience from working with legal ethics and disciplinary cases at the Norwegian Bar Association.
