Marianne Viset

During her studies, Marianne took employment law as a special subject. Marianne also wrote a master's thesis in employment law entitled "Job security for older employees with long seniority in the selection and balancing of interests according to the Working Environment Act § 15-7". Marianne works with general business law advice, with a focus on dispute resolution and employment law. She assists businesses with everything from prevention to resolution of conflicts within several areas of law, and she has extensive experience in solving complex legal issues. Within employment law, she assists businesses in both the private and public sectors in all phases of the employment relationship, including follow-up of HSE, working conditions and forms of affiliation such as hiring and temporary employment.

Marianne Viset graduated with a Master of Laws from the University of Bergen in the spring of 2018. Marianne previously worked as an associate at Arntzen de Besche Advokatfirma AS, and had traineeships at several law firms. Marianne joined Ro Sommernes as an associate in January 2021. She was admitted to the bar in 2022.
