Reconstruction of Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA

On the 18 November 2020, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA was taken under examinership (Irish reconstruction procedures) and on 8 December 2020, reconstruction procedures were initiated for Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA in Norway. Håvard Wiker was appointed as administrator of the reconstruction proceedings.

The examiners' proposal was distributed to the creditors in Ireland and the Irish High Court approved the proposal in March and April 2021. The Norwegian reconstruction proposal was subsequently distributed to the creditors in Norway, and, calculated by outstanding claims, more than 97% of the creditors voted in favor of the proposal.

Oslo Byfogdembete received and approved the reconstruction on 12 April 2021. The ruling to approve the reconstruction is available here.
